Mandated Reporting

Additional Information: We offer training to a variety of professional and non-professional groups who are mandated child abuse and neglect reporters. We educate those who work with children about the laws regarding reporting, how to report, and why it is important to do so. Protective Factors

Additional Information: The Protective Factors Training supports childcare providers by helping parents become stronger parents. Childcare providers will learn to approach parents as experts of their own children, listen to concerns and ideas, and then work together with families to find answers to concerns and/or questions around the child's development. Nurturing Parenting: Through Recovery

Additional Information: If you are a parent, grandparent, or caregiver working on your recovery and want to learn more about the effects of substance use on your family, parenting style, and your relationship with your child join us for this FREE 12-weeks of workshops. If you attend at least 8 out of 12 sessions, you will earn a Certificate of Completion! You will explore enhance your self-awareness and increase your ability to relate to your child(ren) in a safe and supportive environment surrounded by parents and caregivers who share similar life experiences. This is a hybrid class and will happen in-person at the Portland Recovery Community Center, 468 Forest Avenue Portland, ME 04101, or on ZOOM.
