We are seeking nominations in the following three categories and they must be received by December 21, 2009.:
1.
Business Collaborator/Supporter: This recipient
may be a business of any size, and be either local or
statewide. This is a business that has been extremely
supportive to strengthening families and preventing child abuse and neglect by offering cash support,
in-kind support including people, space, volunteers
or anything of this nature.
2.
Community Volunteer/ Parent: This is an award given to a local
individual who may or may not be a parent, is a
community volunteer and may be a youth. This person
has contributed to the prevention of child abuse and
neglect by offering time, skills, outreach
support or anything else that has been of value at the local level.
3.
Community Organization: This is a community-based
organization that offers support to the cause of strengthening families and the prevention of child abuse and neglect. This organization may be a community collaborator,
a social services organization, a fraternal organization
such as Kiwanis or Rotary, or any other community group
not otherwise identified.
